[As Law searches, Rosinante takes up his own post at his computer, eating while it starts up. It's always worth checking the obituaries just in case. If nobody died, if nothing at all happened that can be officially corroborated, then the gossip may, in fact, end up amounting to being gossip and nothing more. It's good to check them against each other.

So he sees the obituary for the same person Law finds, too, but then eyes the others. In a town this size, only three or four deaths per day is fairly standard - and helpful. It will make checking up on the full list quicker. He saves the names and causes of death to a database, to be checked against the hospital and the morgue's records. Sometimes what's printed in a public manner isn't the full truth. In fact, he'd say it's quite often not.]
